Well we’ve been chattering about this since way back in September. And while there seem to have been delays, and we never got official confirmation when we posed the question upon the November Flatiron store opening, Lululemon is indeed unleashing the Union Square outpost at 5 Union Square West as previously pondered and reported. Although we haven’t heard any buzz about it yet, opening day is next Friday the 23rd. And as we also mentioned before, the ‘Starbucks Effect’ is in full tilt: this location is literally 5 blocks away from the Flatiron location on 20th and 5th Ave. They’re so close in fact that the “ambassadors” listed on the website are the same for both locations!
