We heard the Yoga at MoMA event on Superbowl Sunday was pretty fantastic, although we have yet to find some reviews and recaps online. However, we hadn’t realized there was an exclusive prelude on Friday night! Museum patrons were treated to an impromptu yoga class right in the middle of Pipilotti Rist’s Pour Your Body Out exhibit, led by Alexandra Auder (daughter of Andy Warhol’s superstar Viva and underground-video phenom Michel Auder) and a tribe of 12 yogis who inspired onlookers to join in and close the evening in a serenely silent savasana. It only lasted a half hour, but the serenity resonated  in the space for the rest of the night. Even the security guards kept their cool. How wonderful…sorry we missed this one.
