iyengar_sarvangasanaBecause it’s Wednesday! And really what else are you doing that’s sooo important that you can’t watch some visual stimulation. And who knows, you might learn something!

The publicity-shy almost, 90-year old speaks about his yoga (don’t call it HIS yoga),  the why and how the practice restored his health after being stricken with disease as a young man, oh and bringing consciousness to the arch of his big toe. Seeing him crack up about his age is totally cracking us up. Love it.

“I don’t say it’s my yoga, but I gave a quality to the subject”…

that is true. had a discussion with someone about “naming” yoga and my stance was how can someone put THEIR name on yoga (like you know who.) my friend said, what about Iyengar? and I said, he did not call his yoga Iyengar yoga, others did.

however, I’m in the process of trademarking the “Linda-Sama Lifestyle” to merely spread the word about yoga. that’s all I want to do. really. just spread the word. along with my Linda-Sama Lifestyle yoga clothes…..;)

Great videos, thanks for sharing. He’s a cool customer, Mr Iyengar. I like his humility. Never been a huge fan of lots of prop use, but I understand where he’s coming from. And they can be helpful at times… rock on, 90 year old yoga teacher!!

“Linda-Sama Lifestyle” is clearly the next big thing in Yoga.

Where do I sign up?
