ooh oooh! New sneak peek pics from ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ the movie! While perhaps not as squeal-inducing as the new ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ trailer - eeeee! 1.33 mins of OMG! — new snapshots from the film adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert’s Eat, Pray, Love are still something to smile about, if perhaps you enjoy the handsome mugs of James Franco (‘David’) and Javier Bardem (‘Felipe’). ahem. And maybe you’ll be so tired of seeing vampires and werewolves for the nth time that you’ll even go see EPL when it comes out in theaters August 13th! (‘Eclipse’ comes out June 30th, plenty of time you twilight nutters you. right?).

Will I, won’t I… not sure really. I like Javier (rrrooowwwrrrr) and that might be enough to tip the scales if there’s nothing better on at the cinemas. I don’t have high expectations for the movie after reading the book, but then again it may just surprise me
I’m looking forward to this movie.
Like Svasti, I’ve never read the book either, but my wife liked parts of it and I usually like Julia Robert’s movies.

If I lacked enough time to catch The Cove and The Hurt Locker, I’d be shamed beyond recognition to catch this in a first-run theatre. Maybe on a plane…
I do quite like the two leads (for different reasons!), however. The casting of Javier (age 41) as the 57-year-old Felipe: is this supposed to be flattering to the real-life Felipe or a bit demoralizing?
