Excellent! This was really helpful.
I love this sequence but experienced pain in the knee that was in Virasana (both sides); can you suggest some props that would ease this please?

Cora says:
For discomfort with knees in Virasana, please raise seat by sitting on additional blankets or bolster. You can also take a yoga strap and put it in the knee and keep moving the flesh of the thigh and calf away from the knee joint, If you have a small ball, place it inside the knee, and bring forward so 2/3 sits inside and shows the top of ball in internal rotation. This will also help in external rotation for the Janu leg.
If you continue to have knee pain, you can try the first part of the sequence with a straight leg. Any knee problems would not want to continue with a Padma (lotus) leg position. Hope that helps!
