We know what you’re thinking, where’s the booty!? Pushy yogadorks aren’t you…slideshow here. Turns out other countries can objectify moviestars just as well as we can! And why not? There are Celebriyogis in India too. And might we say these ladies are quite lovely, though admittedly we’ve never been officiated as connoisseurs of bootyliciousism.
Booty Beauty Stars of Note: Shilpa Shetty, controversial Richard Gere smoocher and qualified “Queen of Yoga” in Bollywood (she has her own dvds), Sameera Reddy who trains with power yoga (yep, it’s in India too), and Esha Deol a ‘self-professed Yoga freak’ (we’re pretty sure she means yogadork in translation).

No, celebrity yoga did not begin in the U.S. The yogis themselves were celebrities in India long before they were in the U.S.
A lot of people are surprised that Bikram first became famous when he won the National India Yoga championship when he was 13. We don’t even come close to that level of turning physical yoga into competition!
