Oh hello there Mr. Sexy Eyes! We hope that’s just your post-yoga grin, not your post-yoga ‘that blood smoothie was delicious!’ face. That handsome fellow there is one Mr. Ian Somerhalder, who broke more than a few hearts as Boone on Lost. Remember that show? Sadly, his character died, but fear not, he is alive (sorta) and has a recurring role on CW’s ‘The Vampire Diaries’.
Oh, right, why do we care? He’s a yogi! As evidenced by his twitter update on Jul 21 he’s all about simplicity, and being incredibly adept at wanting us to be the final item missing from his ATL apt. (we can all thank @YogaChicky for the sweet find)
Bonus: According to various bios, like on TV.com, “Somerhalder spends much of his time studying acting, writing and practicing yoga.”
Is this a bloodsucking yoga-loving trend? Other vampire relatives who’ve come out in the daylight for yoga: Twighlight‘s Peter Facinelli and Nikki Reed, and ‘True Blood”s Ryan Kwanten!

See – even blood suckers are finding out how alive yoga can make your feel.
Loving the celeb take on simplicity. Who needs a house full of furniture anyways? Also, he’s an environmental activist – doing PSA announcements and fundraising for the BP oil spill. Yay! Down to earth actors in Hollyweird!
That in combination with my love for all things vampire and you can call me a fan! And it has NOTHING to do with his sexy blue eyes! ;P
What I’d love to see is a bunch of celebri-yogis banding together to use yoga as a way to continue efforts for the mess BP made of the ocean! Imagine this: a bit Yoga Day Out at various cities around America, each with a slew of contributing celebri-yogis and a whole hoard of yoga teachers to support the day. Plenty of activities, and all profits going directly to helping the people, domestic animals and marine life affected. It could be huge.
All yogis are environmentalists at heart, right? Sounds like a perfect match to me!
I am so completely out of touch with the whole vampire/werewolf/… thing. (You see, I don’t even know what to call it.) Out of touch is the wrong phrase. I was never in touch. Never seen a show. Don’t know the stars. Only know it’s there because of guests on late night and advertisements. Am I missing something, or should I be blissful in my ignorance?
