We’ve barely felt the sweet sweaty spritzes of summer and we’re already hearing about this year’s yoga month, in September 2010! Though it’s a ways away, it’s always nice to have something to look forward to, especially when that happens to be a day of (mostly)free yoga, awareness and such. So we saw the press release and thought, ok cool. Then we saw a tidbit about some DVD with the grandiose title, are you ready for it?…(said in a robust and deep god-like tone) TITANS OF YOGA!

I agree, it’s kind of gimmicky sounding, but there are solid contributors listed. It might just be a good product! I guess we’ll see, huh?

Titans? Really? Not saying I couldn’t learn a ton from each and everyone of those mentioned but somebody had a mad marketing session. What’s next … the gods of the mat, please.
My head’s still tilting at the “superstars” concept in the first place. Love Betherann’s “profound new insight (TM)” – really funny. It’s a bunch of people I would enjoy hearing, but the marketing language is insulting.
“Titans”? So everyone else in yoga, including those who’ve been practicing for decades and working quietly to support their communities is a peon because they don’t have a gee-whiz publicist?
